Hello friends, a little haul from me today. It feels like forever since I have posted a haul, but I remember back in the old blogging days, being obsessed with reading what people had picked up in their recent trips to the shops! I hope the hype is as real as it was back then! Anyway, recently I travelled to my closest outlet, for some much needed retail therapy. I wasn’t disappointed when I came across the Cosmetic Company Store where I was met with an abundance of discounted beauty, some of which was available full price in the normal shopping centre at full price! Not only did they have their regular discount in the day I visited but they had an additional 30% off if you purchased 5 items. I think I picked a great day to visit! It was crazy busy but definitely worth the chaos and queuing.
Firstly I picked up the Origins Make a Difference Rejuvenating Treatment. I used this years ago and cant really remember why I stopped. Its a super hydrating formula in a gel like consistency, that I really enjoy using at night time. I’m excited to try this again, and I hope it is as good as I remember. The scent alone brings back so many memories. With all discounts applied I paid £19.25 for this, which is nearly half the regular £37 price!
I needed a new eye cream, as the one I am currently using isnt really hitting the spot for me right now. I picked up the Dr Jart Biome Eye Cream, I haven’t used this before nir have I even read any reviews, but when I tried the tester on my hand in store it felt like a really lovely balm type consistency, something I hope will work winders on my dry under eye skin. This is usually priced at £26, but with all discount I paid £13.65.
I next had a swoon at the lipstick choice and I was in awe when I noticed they have a whole Tom Ford section. I have never purchased from this brand, simply due to the price tag but with all the discounts their lipsticks were only £23.07 instead of £44, an offer I couldn’t pass up. I opted for the matte lip colour in Vervain, a beautiful pink mauve which is exactly my favourite kind of colour. I don’t even want to swatch it because it is so pretty! The packaging also feels so luxurious and I am curious to see how the formula wears when I eventually bring myself to try it!
I picked up a staple lipstick from Mac in Velvet Teddy, which I’ve never actually tried, but at £8.40 instead of £18 it was hard not to resist the much loved nude colour.
Lastly I picked up the Too Faced Born This Way concealer which is usually £26 but I paid £12.75. Ive heard so much about this and my much loved Juvias Place concealer is almost finished so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try something new!
All in all I would say I had a pretty successful beauty shopping spree, with all this costing my under £69!
Have you even been to an outlet store?
