Cream Blush Collection

Fenty, Clinique, Revolution, Nude Stix, Rodial, Iconic

Happy weekend, I hope you are all well! Today I wanted to share my collection of cream blushes, something I never really used to reach for but now can’t get enough of! Its funny how your skin changes as you get older, I used to have incredibly oily skin and the idea of any cream products on my face was like hell. Now as my skin gets drier every year, I love anything that will give me dewy looking complexion.

My favourite of the minute is the Fenty Cheeks Out Cream Blush in Petal Poppin which I mentioned in my previous post, it has a lovely for me that the blends into the skin really easy, and leaves a really dewy finish on my cheeks. I also love the colour of this, it’s the perfect peach pink and complements both my pale skin and when I have fake tan on.

Another cream formula I really enjoy is the Clinique Chubby Cheeks blush in Robust Rhubarb, this is a stick form, so much easier to travel with and it has a very similar formula to the Fenty one but is less dewy and leaves a more matte finish on the skin. It’s equally as long wearing and I really love the coral tone for the summer. However, I always like to pair a highlighter with this to make sure I don’t look too flat.

The Revolution Bright Lights in Beam Pink is technically a highlighter, however when i am rocking my pale skin, this doubles up as a super glowy blush on me. It has a really wet formula that blends best with your finger tips and the colour and the glow equally show on the skin. I’m not a huge fan of the packaging as I despise those little sponge tips, but it looks so good on the skin that I can forgive it.

One i reach for when I’m more tanned is the Nude Stix Plush Paint in Tahiti Hottie, its very different in terms of a blush for me as it’s a more brown toned nude, but the little lipgloss style applicator makes it easy to prevent applying too much. This is another blush that is liquidy in consistency, and similar to the Clinique it dries down to a more matte finish. I reach for this a lot when I go for more minimal makeup days as it looks so natural on the skin once blended in.

The newest blush in my collection is the Rodial Blush Drops in Frosted Pink which I loving. Its a liquid type formula with easy dropper packaging that really ticks all my boxes. Its pigmented, so a little goes a long way, its easy to blend and it brings a pop of colour and a beautiful glow without being overpowering.

Lastly is the blush that I think might be my all time favourite. The Iconic London Sheer Blush in Rose Riot, which I could wear everyday. The colour is right up my street, a soft pink that isn’t overpowering and a lightweight gel type formula that can be built up easily depending on how intense you want to go. It says its sheer but don’t be fooled as this can pack a punch if its built up! It leaves the skin dewy but not too tacky either which I really love.

Who knew I’d become a cream blush fan! Do you have any cream favourites?
