Hey friends, it’s been a while since I have posted here.. honestly I was struggling to think of what content I really wanted to post, I really fell out of my blogging mojo and felt a bit deflated. I know this is probably because blogging isn’t what it used to be back when I was blogging around 7 years ago. Anyway, I’m feeling more inspired since the new year has hit so I want to make sure I post here at least once a month, I think that is a manageable amount of content for me to handle along side instagram and working full time!
I’m gonna keep it old school with some empties, I still love to read these posts and I had some stuff piling up so thought there was no better time for some mini reviews!
Firstly the Byoma Hydrating Serum, I love this and have already repurchased it! It has a light milky type consistency that sinks into the skin quickly allowing its ingredients to get to work. It’s packed with ceramides and other gear ingredients to really boost hydration. Love it!
Next is the Bondi Sands Daydream Whipped Moisturiser , this is a great affordable moisture and it really does have a whipped texture. I don’t love this on its own but paired with the right serums etc it really it lovely on the skin, I definitely want to try more from this range but not sure I would pick this up again.
The Avene Soothing Eye Contour Cream will always be a favourite, does what it says on the tin and I think this is my 5th tube.. forever repurchase!
I definitely hav thoughts on the skin and me cleanser, I did a post about them recently if you want to give that a read. Spoiler, this isn’t a favourite for me.
The CeraVe Cream to Foam cleanser is a nice affordable cleanser, I don’t think it’s anything ground breaking but for a nice easy cleansing options I’d definitely consider repurchasing this again.
DrBotanicals Hand Cream, I use a hand cream every night before bed and I liked this one. I don’t love anything rose scented but this wasn’t too overpowering, it sinks in quick and gets the job done.
Pixi Peel and Polish, a strange smelling manually exfoliant that has AHA/BHA too, this is great but I hate the scent so much that I wouldn’t buy it again.
Sebastian No Breaker Spray, is kind of like Olaplex in a bottle. I didn’t notice much difference in my hair but I knew it was doing something, my hair was in a bad state when I bought this and I think I definitely need to thank this for being part of my hairs recovery.
The UK Lash Serum, all I will say is that my eyelashes are massive and I will never stop using this!
The By Terry By Terribly Mascara is a no from me, didn’t give me any length or volume and was pretty disappointing, definitely will not by buying the full size of this.
Amika The Kure Hair Mask, this is a,aging, I love the scent and I loooove how soft it makes my hair feel. It doesn’t weigh the hair down and I really enjoyed using it. Will definitely pick up another of this ASAP.
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid is amazing, super lightweight, soaks in nice and quickly and is super affordable. I already have another one of these and I don’t think I will find another HA I love as much!
The Aveeno Oat Gel Moisturiser is a lovely option if you love a gel formula, it’s simple and no fuss and I already picked up another one.
Origins Make a Difference Moisturiser, this is another great gel texture and I really want to get another one of these as soon as I can. It has a really lovely light scent too that is super nostalgic for me as I used to use this years ago.
The Elemis Pro Collagen moisturiser has a strange, whipped type consistency. It has a pretty hefty price tag and I really didn’t think it was that amazing. It was nice as a moisturiser but I definitely have used others that are much cheaper that I like a lot better.
CoLab dry shampoo is my favourite, I actually had 3 empties of this
